First check the cold and hot water hoses where they attach to the machine. Unless you turn off the taps they are always under pressure and the hose may have a leak or the fittings are leaking.
If these are OK then you should check the drain hose and pump which is located inside the unit. you will have to access the pump from the rear of the machine.
The leak could also be from the valve that mixes the hot and cold water. Also on the rear inside. Follow the input hoses to the valve .

Hi JC.Generally a leak in the washer machine is a simple fix.Remove the back panel and take a look.you should see where the drain hose is connected to the resevoire basin. There should be a hose clamp on it that generally needs a tweeking. Before this ,make sure that the hose hasn't got a hole or crack in it.If it does, replace the hose.badabing, badabang badaboom.

feel the supply and drain lines where they attach to the machine for leaks. on the supply lines you can use Teflon tape to stop leaks. on the drain remove the hose and clean the joint and reattach. you may have to replace the drain hose with a new one if it is worn out.
