What is the weirdest/craziest/stupidest thing you've ever done in the name of boredom?

When I was 12 and my little sister was 8, our parents weren't home and we were playing on the phone. Suddenly, we heard my fathers voice on the line. We screamed and hung up the phone, ran downstairs because we thought he was on the downstairs extension. He wasn't. We went back upstairs to play on the phone again (no, we apparently weren't that bright), again my father's voice came on the phone. We screamed and hung up the phone again. HE WAS HOPPING MAD. He was calling from a pay phone at work to tell my mom he had to work overtime and he was wasting $$$$. thank goodness my parents weren't into corporal punishment.

Sadly enough, when my twin daughters started 1st grade, I became very bored and depressed because I was a stay at home mom. For excitement my best friend and I shoplifted at Wal-Mart and got caught!! It was the worst day of my life and funny thing is, I had never stole anything my entire life! It was kind of a blessing because it made me get the help I needed and it turned my life around for the better. I'll never forget that day and it's something I haven't talked about since, until your question. I'm just being honest.

Only lazy or inept people get bored. I, although retired, work on cars, have a 30x90 foot garden I take care of. I tend an orchard with apple, peach, pear, banana, persimmon, fig, orange and Plum trees. I do woodworking and a lot of yard work, watch six grandkids play sports, participate in band, dance, etc. We both have regular exercise programs and participate in dances and crafts at the local senior citizen's center. And we take the kids and grandkids on trips in our RV. When I retired everyone said, "Oh you'll be bored to death in two weeks". As I said, boredom is for lazy people. I don't have time for it.

When I was coming out of a movie with my friends, we had nothing better to do, so we bought more popcorn, soda, and candy went to the Bally Total Fitness that was conveniently located next to the theater in the same shopping center. We stood in front of the windows and stuffed our faces, lol. Some of the people gave us looks of disgust, some stared at us like they were starving and just dying to eat but knew they shouldn't because they knew they had to lose weight, and a (very) few amount of others laughed. Heh, that was kinda fun. =D

Trip my teacher.
I was really bored and I felt like doing something that would embarass him a lot. He is a 7 ft guy, real ugly, 31 yrs old, and he looks 50. So I tripped him and he fell splat on the floor. Pretty funny, until I almost got detention.....

As a kid I was dared to lay down in the middle of the street, with hopes of creating a wreck. I did it, but didnt cause an accident, Got in trouble though...lol

Drank a bottle of Rum in the park wearing a plastic garbage bag. It was raining and I was home with my parents and my car wasn't running. The police busted me and brought me home. My parents had company so they were very humiliated by my behavior.

I went on a walk for 3 days. when i lived in paris... with a bunch of friends.. we had no money.. and didnt speak french.. it was crazy


i was bored so i lit my drive way on fire.. to melt the ice... the nabors called the cops.. stupid people they are..

i also.. have.. took a blender and put my cell phone in it.. and pressed start.. i got lots of metalic ash..

i a bunch of us went on the streets and suddenly yelled and people got scaired.. and we got it on tape.. we did this all day.. amazin..
