It was called Cliffhanger I think, it came out in the mid 80's I believe. It consisted of three short shows in each episode. The first three Cliffhangers were;
1). A woman whos son had been kidnapped(I think)
2). A Vampire story
3. An underground futuristic city in the old west.
These ran until the plot of all three ended then new ones began.

I remember Cliffhanger. It was on tv the same time Steven Speilberg's Amazing Stories was on tv.
They were both great shows. Maybe we'll catch them on some re-run channel sometime.

nope nd i looked on imdb.com which has just about everything and it is not on there
