What are plyometrics: examples, how you do them, etc.? Will they help all that much in getting a higher vertical jump like everyone says (it's for volleyball)? What about sit-ups and ab workouts, are abs really that crucial in getting a higher jump? One more question: I already have really built calf and thigh muscles so muscle isn't needed so what else can I do to improve the vertical jump, the plyometrics and ab workouts or do you have another idea that works? Thank youuu :D

Plyometrics are excellent for increasing jumping ability. The simplest example is jumping down from a height and bounding back up again when you land. Dr. Donald Chu is the recognized expert in the field. Put his name or the word plyometrics into a search engine and see what you get.
