I'd say it's a good thing. The best possible thing for a heterosexual male is to come off as slightly gay to women.

I think it's wonderful that you put thought into what you wear-more people should. As to some thinking your gay because of it-just tell them you're not and maybe they ought to look in the mirror once in awhile.
Being gay is neither a good or bad thing it's just the way some people were born-liking the same gender. Don't worry about it and me thinks your new friend is not be so friendly.

It all stems from Guys not wanting to be perceived as effeminate or girl-like. Being call gay is supposed to be offensive to the male ego. The challenge is to rise above being pushed into a box like this. If you are comfortable with who you are, including your sexuality, being called gay shouldn't bother you. It only bothers the ones who might be sitting on the fence, or closeted. So much energy goes into not wanting to be perceived as gay that it gets in the way of being natural. This is the true homophobia. Men: get over yourselves! This is another symptom of men in our society not being encouraged to deal with their emotions. If boys were allowed to play with dolls too, things would be better and more ballanced.

I dated a guy who loved to cook, was always worried about how his hair looked, and if he dressed good. I suspected he might be gay but after being with him for longer I just realized that was the way he was. He was very sweet, kind, attentive, and he loved the lovebox

So, no, as long as the girls you date KNOW you're straight that's all that matters. He was probably one of the best boyfriends I ever had,

If you're comfortable and happy with who you are then that is what all is important. Some straight people look/act gay, and vice versa. I wouldn't worry about it. Just if a gay person's gaydar goes off on you, they will take it in stride when you inform them of your being straight. Its not a big deal.

Do you like who you are? That's all that truly matters...

Making it a matter of "good" or "bad" not only adds subjective "moral" yet meaningless value system of what others think, but doesn't allow for yourself to truly examine how you think and feel about it...

Do you think it's "good" or "bad"? And if so, in what way?

No honey and if your comfortable in your own skin and with who you are then it should not matter. It sounds to me like you just have a lot of class.

No, I wouldn't. She's probably just used to guys who are dirty and don't care about their appearance.
