Political correctness cannot mask the biological behaviors of humans.Yet feminism attempts to 'liberate' womens sexuality by playing the equality card and ignoring men's and women's innate differences.
A man must prove himself to aquire sexual partners, when a woman, even a not particularly attractive woman, could have sex many times a night merely by opening her legs. This is why promiscuous men are called studs and promiscuous women are called sluts.
Conversely, a woman must prove herself to a man, for him to commit to a relationship with her and if she has had many sexual partners, he will likely not respect her as she has given sex away so freely. He will have sex with her like the many other men, but will rather commit to a woman who values her sexuality.
I certainly don't advocate men run around having sex with any woman he can, however, as women ultimately are the selector and the restraint between men and women, this is the reason for the stigma of 'easy' women.
Feminists can argue all they like about how 'gender is a social construct', when one just has to look at the behaviours of men and women to realise that this theory is doing much damage to both men and women and the subsequent erroding gender roles in society.

Some are, some aren't. Guys expect women to have pretty high standards and almost all of society doesn't look favorably upon a woman that has sex with many people. Furthermore, it really doesn't even tie into just the sex. If a smart and kind girl was having sex with lots of people, guys would probably give her the benefit of the doubt. It's usually one thing added to another, like her being a bitchy cheerleader or a failing student in class.
That is at least my perception of things. Note that the above "kind" part is far more important than the smart. From what I've seen, somebody that is kind to everybody doesn't get any bad rap from people because you generally don't insult one who is nice to you.
That said, it is certainly an example of a double standard, but I have to agree with the above posters in saying that they aren't really rewarded. Guys that I know wouldn't really think that way. I need to go look for a national opinion poll on this...

No one rewards us for having sex with 50 girls. You watch too much TV. Do you honestly think guys go around having sex with a girl and leaving her right after? That's also the girl's fault for wanting sex right away when they barely know each other. Anyway if guys are so harsh it is probably because of women.

Pretty much any girl can find a guy to have sex with if she really wants to. If she has sex with a lot of guys, she is just overindulging herself. Like pigging out on cheesecake all the time, just because you can.
On the other hand, it can be a real challenge for guys to find someone have sex with. So, if a guy has a lot of sex, it is a great accomplishment. He's like a hero.

Because women and their sexuality is still a form of commodity to be owned and controlled by men in conventional society.
Simply put, a woman that's a virgin is more valuable than any other kind. A woman who has only had sex with the man possessing her is worth only slightly less. Women with multiple sexual partners are damaged goods.
Men, who derive their social value from power and ability to get money and control women, rarely have their value affected negatively by having many sex partners unlike a woman whose main value in this society is derived from her value as a sex or marriage partner.
If we, instead, lived in a society where women supported themselves (and their children) and were encouraged to do so and so their value as a commodity was less than the value they contributed to society directly and the ideal of permanent proprietary monogamy were abolished, women would be more likely to be evaluated (and men would be likely to be evaluated) on their value as a companion and as a potential parent without creating artificial dependencies like the "housewife".
The other factor would be that men (and women) would be in relatively continious competetion with each other because the other person can easily decide to discontinue a relationship at any time. This would likely act as a constraint against attempts to control, domestic violence, and other forms of abuse because those succesful enough to keep a relationship are going to be those who provide for the other person's needs (and have theirs provided for in return).
That's my two cents worth anyway.

Get rewarded ? With what ? Sluts and studs both get praise among teens, I dont see 16 years old bashing hilton. You will be hard pressed to find a woman rewarding a guy that goes through women like a chainsaw unless she is married and looking only for sex.

It's the completly unfair society we live in. But I don't believe a guy who sleeps around is someone we should be proud of, I think it's discusting.
Not all guys are like this, just keep looking, trust me it's worth it!
