i dont have a top #1 but since i have connection to 2 of them i'll list all of em

1. The Rookie (my sister dated Jimmy Morris for a short time)
2. Friday Night Lights (i was in the 9th grade at the time and my high school played in the finals (you can see them in a scene)
3. Rudy (this is probably #1 favorite): i will never forget the part where he is ready to give up and the groundskeeper confronts him about life and his dreams.
4. Men Of Honor: this was probably the best movie of a black person in a time when they were degraded and put down, trying to make it in life.

"At Close Range" - I think it had to do with the fact it was the first movie I watched that I understood it was written based off something that really happened to someone. Plus, the song for the movie had such a great, emotional open, that it made it all that more enticing.

There are so many - the ones that moved me the most are "Gorillas in the Mist" about Diane Fossey and her work with gorillas. "Dead Man Walking" about Sister Helen P. and her work with death row inmates. And, "The Insider" about the major news report by '60 Minutes' that started the lawsuits against and the downfall of the tobacco companies.

Miracle. I love how they put the actual sportscasts in the movie. Also that game happened on my first birthday!! They did a great job casting and although it is a long movie, I can watch it over and over again.

In Cold Blood because it's so frighteningly real. The family is completely average and ordinary it gives you a real sense of the horror of it.

Walk the Line because it shows how everybody can lose their way but they can also get their lives back on track.
