If Jake Roberts really died, a wrestling site would have covered it about 1hour after it happened. WWE.com would have had information about it. I think it is unlikely because it is wikipedia, and they have posted fake death notices before (Sinbad a few weeks back) but if it did happen then i say Rest In Peace, he is/was a legend.

Folks wwe home site wouldnt put it up till tommorrow at the earliest ,as for the death I dont put much stock in it . however it would be a true loss in the wrestling world but would give jake rest finally after his screrwed up life

Don't trust wikipedia, especially when it comes to biographies. Most all of the biographies have inaccuracies and downright lies. Since no site has said anything about it, I'd say no he's still alive.
