I was 2 years old, watching it with my mom and dad at my grandparents' house.
I remember being very underwhelmed because Bugs Bunny walked on the Moon everyday!

It was about a month before I turned 5. My dad and my uncle both worked for the space program, but unfortunately, I don't remember anything. I wish I did.

I watched with my family but I didn't see what all the excitement was about because we didn't learn any thing new. I was much more excited by the first pictures of the backside of the moon and the first close up pictures of Venus and Mars.

I was 8 years old and I sat up that night and watched it from our home because it was summer vacation and my parents 13th wedding anniversary was the next day and we were allowed to stay up past our normal bedtime at 10:30pm EDT.

Our family was on vacation in Cape Cod. Dad woke everyone up (I think it was around 10-11 pm) to make sure we saw it live and remember it forever. I couldn't wait to get back to sleep.
