Well I hope your not smoking crack!
Of course if you are smoking pot it can effect your gecko.
Haven't ever heard of a contact high, what kind of a stoner are you?
And quit putting lines out for your Gecko.
Gecko rehab is expensive, just ask that little Geico dude!

If it can hurt you, it can be deadly to them. If you don't do it and he isn't exposed to it anymore, he should be fine unless he is addicted and goes into withdraws...lol. Coke and most drugs stay in system for little more/less than a week and will take a little longer for reptiles but will work itself out of system entirely with little or no side effects. Pot will stay in system a little longer but will also work its way out also. I don't do coke or anything else, but I do smoke pot exclusively and only pot. I do have a separate room for my several herps to live in where there is absolutely no smoking ANYTHING in. So I don't want to see a bunch of "Are you stupid, blah blah bull smack in regards of my answers from a bunch of dare bear brainwashed kids being bred to be the next gen of GW Bushes who don't know nothing that you have gotten as other answers. If I read right you got the lizard from a crack wh**e and are just concerned if there will be any problems? Why is the p/head the only one who actually read the question to pick that up? Why am I the only person who even attempted to sincerely answer this persons question? My herps get yearly physicals and always get clean bills of health. I have a 10 yr old leopard gecko pothead, who has already lived the life expectancy of one. And she lives in l/room where everyone is because that's the way she wants it. If yours is looking good and eating well, and active, no worries. Just keep an eye on it for a couple weeks to make sure nothing changes. Oh and one last thing it is deadly for any animal even you to "smell" coke.

for some reason I am not getting the same feeling everyone else is if this is real... are you a kid and your parents do it and you are concerned about your lizard if so yes it will hurt your lizard but it also hurts you more. I hope I am wrong and this is just you being funny if so that's cool. but if you really need help there is a blue section in your phone book you can call anonymously to get help and suggestions on how to deal with drug addictions you may not do the drugs but the addiction will affect you. I sure hope i am wrong and this is all my crazy mind telling me something wrong. good luck and if you read what firestarter said she is wrong there is a such thing as contact high go to google type in "contact high" you will get the answer that shows she is wrong in the first two entries. look at wikipedia it says plainly humans and animals.

Yes, any kind of drug or smoke can hurt your gecko and any other animal, I'm a senior in highschool so I know a lot of potheads some of which are my friends and I've heard of a lot of horrible things that have happened when people gave drugs to an animal. None of my friends have done this, all my friends are extremely intellegent, one even skip a grade, he's younger than me and already in college and would never put an animal in danger.

Absolutely. A case in point is that gecko in the Geico commercials. He flunked out of med school, because he used drugs at all the frat parties. Sure, he makes a lot of money doing the commercials, but what does he do after his contract runs out? It's too bad. He could have been a first rate proctologist.

CRAZY!!! there are a lot of judgemental people out there! i quit doing drugs many years ago because it hurts my ability to attain the goals in my life, but WTF? that doesn't give me the right to tell you that you shouldn't be doing them, or tell you that you are a bad person for doing them.

YOUR GECKO is mostly likely being affected by your choices however. that's not judgement. that's just the facts. all the little molecules in those drugs that get you high are floating right into your pets noses and lungs too. you can try using a fan to direct the smoke away from your pets, or smoking in a different room, but no doubt a small amount will always still reach them, and although no one will likely spend the money to prove it, it is most probably bad for them.

Is this a serious question? Not only can marijuana and coke hurt your gecko it can hurt you, also. You need to make better choices.

Marijuana and coke? Do you have any brain cells left after both of those? Your poor gecko, I wish I could save him. :(
