My Girlfriend and I are going to be getting married and she has heard that people can't work in the states until they have been married for three years. Is there anywhere on the internet that I can find out if this is true or not. Also,If it is not true can she immedialtey begin working once she is allowed to come over??

she needs to have a green card or work permit to work here if she is not a citizen. You should call immigration and ask them about this. It sounds like she is using you to get here then not work for a few years.

she can begin working as soon as she gets a social security number, which is RIGHT AWAY...you don't have to wait for anything else...you can make her work right away...so she can help with the bills and take some stress off your shoulders...and..lol..nevermind!
