No, i'm not in middle school. No, i'm not 4'9". I'm a sophomore in high school who's 5'6". Whoa...erm...
Here's the deal. I skipped a couple grades and I'm tall for my age. I've had to mature quickly (emotion-wise) when I was 10 and in seventh grade beside 13 yr olds. So, i've been with the same "class" since 7th grade. We get along. People are surprised at how young I am because i don't act like it. I really think I'm as mature as any 16 yr old. (my classmates are all 16)
Oh, and my friends and classmates are dating. It really seems fun! My friends aren't druggies and stuff- they're good students and they are responsible.
What's your opinion about me dating at 14?

Sorry, but you are still too young to go out with guys on a one on one basis, although to go out in a group, I think that's ok.

I think that dating at 14 is great because the sooner you fiqure out what kind of guy you get along with. But dont get too attached too quick at a young age its very easy to do that so just have fun date alot to find what you like and vise versa. There are lots of fish in the sea and well its a long time before you get a trophy fish...trust me i know

I"m not doubting that you aren't as mature as the 16yr olds, but just keep in mind that even though you have all been together, they have different biological Ideas and assumptions than you do. Their ideas of dates and yours are 2 completely different things. If you must date I would suggest you stick to somebody closer to your own age, or even 15. In the teen years even 1yr can make a big difference.
If they are 16 they drive and have different thoughts than a 14yr old who doesn't. Just keep in mind that your safety is of the utmost importance.

well if u feel like ur ready then there isnt any harm . but to me dating is because u want to find someone u can really love and spend ur whole lifetime with. and right now at 14 i dont think u can find the love of ur life. but its just for playing around and even if it gets serious i dont think it wil last long. well its just my opinion. but u can use this experience to guide u for later on dating as u mature and grow older. gud luk.

Well, I think it is O.K. to hang out in public with boys, but one on one with a 16yr. old, no. Boys at this age are doing things and wanting things that 14yr. girls should not do; 16yr old girls should not do . I would have to meet the boy and know you of course to really answer the question.

Just be careful and don't get pregnant like my 14 year old niece. She thought she was mature. She grew up fast;also. I grew up fast emotionally and physically jumped into adult life too fast and am still regretting.

it is different if you want to go and hang out with boys and girl or if you think you need to go out by yourself with a guy and if you are wanting to go out with someone who is 14 or 16,
all i can say is if you were my kid and that smart i would hope that you would realize that it is ok to hang out with kids who are older than you but also realize that you are still young and not ready to date, plus my kid will not date at 14

personally...i think its OK for you to date...but not okay to date for the wrong reasons...( you're dating cause your friends are, you think the guy/girl is hot, etc...). but also think of the age difference...and what u like/dislike about the guy/girl....you may like something about hI'm, but for the wrong reason...(im sorry if you didn't understand that..). but really, i don't think its bad, just make sure you KNOW what YOU are doing..!!!!
