minnesota
because they are the best team that could actually use him
the other teams that could use him are:
oakland
miami
buffalo
so if i was carr i would go to minnesota because they have a decent organization there and i think he'll fit in well there because that team is the best team he would be choosing from, though miami is a pretty good team, they still have daunte culpepper and why waiste ur time in miami just being a backup?

I think he will end up in Minnesota. It makes the most sense because they are not ready to hand the reigns over to Tavaris Jackson yet and at #7 they are not going to be able to draft a premiere QB in the draft this year. I actually think the best fit for him would be Carolina. That would give him a year or two to learn the system and gain some confidence, he could heal any wounds he has from all of those sacks and Jake Delhomme will be done in a year or two anyway. In two years, Carr would still be only 30 years old and would still have 5 or 6 years to be a starting QB.

I think Oakland is actually a good team for Carr to sign with. Their O-line is at least a little better than Houston's and Oakland has a couple good receivers too. Throw in a decent RB and it's an improvement over what he had in Houston. I'm not sure that Carr would be able to start anywhere else. Minnesota might not be a bad place to go, but I don't think he would start there. The Texans did him a favor by cutting him... they were just using him as a tackling dummy there anyway. Not a very respectable way to treat your franchise's first draft pick ever.

I think David Carr has the potential to be a good quarterback. It isnt his fault that he got sacked almost every play. The Texans had a poor line and gave Carr no time in the pocket. I think he would be great for Detroit and also a good fit for Miami. Dont count out the Browns either.

I know this is going to sound crazy but I think that he might be a good fit in Oakland. Oakland has a young offensive line and if they pick up Carr that would free up their pick to take Calvin Johnson who is a blue chip WR. With Johnson on one side, Randy Moss on the other and Ronald Curry coming in on three WR sets, Carr would have a very formidable receiving corps with which to throw to. Add in the fact that the Raiders picked up blocking fullback Justin Griffith and that gives carr one more piece of protection. Carr is fairly mobile so with that mobility Carr could free up at the very least either of the two good recieving backs Rhodes or Jordan. Might work, at any rate.

Dallas Cowboys logically he fits em. More than Minnesota, more than Florida. David Carr still got a half career ahead of him. He's got to pay it off by carrying the clipboards for Dallas. (laugh)

A team who plays ball control offense and has a decent o-line and a good D. Like Baltimore or the Bears or Jacksonville.
