Sure, if the process of writing things down ends, history will have ended. People kept verbal histories before writing was invented, but those don't count, because stories passed by word of mouth have a way of changing from teller to teller as they adapt them to their styles...

Of course, since we invented the idea of keeping track of our doings, when the last of us is gone, history stops.
Believe me, the big OUT THERE has no more use for or interest in out silly little history then we do in the history of an ant hill. Less actually.

Depends on the history being spoken of. The general principle, no, but the component parts do. They likewise see their own history ending, but not as well as the encompassing knowledge the future of it holds.

No. History is His Story there fore there is no ending. Other than the fact that one's own history will end with their death. My opinion and surely there will be others.

technically, history cannot end because it is in the past and has already ended. only the present can end.
