Get your guards to drive and dish, always attack the weak points of the zone, that being if ur playin the 1 at the top of the key, and none of the 2 defenders are guarding u, then attack the middle gap. this can also be done on the wing too. once defenders close on you, u'll find open jumpers or room to swing the ball or deliver it inside for easy pts. keep the ball moving, so the zone keeps moving. you could also call the play over load, by overloading one side of the court and then either skip passing or swinging the ball quickly the opposite direction to look for open looks

Try dribble penetration then kick out to the open shooter or once dribble penetration works you can take it to the hoop.Since you mentioned that you have an average perimeter game then that makes the first choice not the one for you.Try the second pick because of your good inside presence.Dribble penetration by the quick guards can cause great offensive rebounding opportunities for the defense would try to head off the penetrating guard and contest the shot he would make thus there would be a neglect in box out for the zone defense, opening the way for your team's inside game.

You need to post up, and look for the backdoor pass. A good ball handler can penetrate the zone and look for the open man. Movement without the ball is the key. Give and go, pick and roll, screens are all ways to beat a zone. Remember in a zone the defenders are guarding an area and your job is to get them out of the area to open up the court.

Triangle 3 players one on baseline, one on block, other on wing and work ball around. Eventually something will give. Give and go's work as well.
