It's not bad. But regardless of how good or not, it's too short.
And it needs reformatting. Would you consider entering poetry contests? There are some out there (on line included) where the copyright remains yours and some where the opposite is true.
Hey, maybe you and I should collaborate on a book of poems.
I have several I'd love to see published as a book, and to find that book in any book store would be wonderful!. How many poems have you written, of your own, so far?

Your "poem".... A little common sense can go a long way!!! Then again, if one loves another, both sharing their pain, helping to restore order and creating anew is part of the deal. Accepting the whole person on all levels is what's required, if one is not committed to that, they shouldn't waste their (or the other persons) time.

So far as publishing goes.... Its really not that difficult or expensive to self publish!!! If you feel your works are worthwhile and or meaningful, stop by Staples (not promoting them, they just came to mind) and have them (or an entity similar) assist you in creating a small book. There'll most likely be a minimum amount required such as 250, 500, 1000 copies.

If you search around the www I'm sure you could find independant publishers willing to help you get started as well.... Just be very cautious if you go that route!

Getting poetry published these days is tremendously difficult. Publishers just arent publishing poetry anthologies much anymore because it doesnt sell. I dont even know of any agents representing poets. Try submitting it to magazines or contests - but make sure you check with Preditors and Editors site and Absolute Write Water Cooler's Backgrounds and Bewares before submitting anywhere. Lots of contests are frauds and lots of magazines stiff authors out of their money. The back of Writers Markets has a list of magazines you can skim through for ones seeking poetry. Just be careful.
