I am in Vermillion City at Indigo Plateau and I just entered the cave....How do I get to Cooltrainer Naomi? I've tried to move the boulders...what's the trick? Please help!

I have already tried www.gamefaqs.com...I have printed all 150+ pgs of it...this is the only part my son don't understand.

Your question was a little vague but I suspect that your son is in Victory road. In order to pass the barriers, you need to use strength to push the boulders onto the white discs. These are pressure sensitive switches that will open the way when a boulder is pushed on top of it. At one point, you will have to push a boulder down through a hole and then onto a switch.
