How to reattach a button my laptop keyboard?

The number 8 has fallen off of my laptop's keyboard and I can't get it to properly reattach again, help me! : (

Um... most I have a laptop and my buttons just snap on and off, try it carefully and if you can't get it back on take it somewhere?

Most likely the little hinge piece that connects the button to the board has broken.

It happens fairly often actually. You can go on ebay and buy the replacements for pretty cheap.

Otherwise, you could try some of the local repair shops, they might have one that would work for you.

Once you get a hold of the replacement hinge, it should just snap right on.
