Why wouldn't you help someone you like if you could?

Now here is the solution. (I am assuming that you are not just talking about someone is afraid of getting up in front of a group, but that you are referring to the condition in which someone who is prepared to perform suddenly has something like a "panic attack.")

This kind of stage fright is caused in part by incorrect breathing. Someone starts getting a little nervous and starts breathing in quick, shallow breaths. This in turn results in lower oxygen level in the blood resulting in breathing faster, etcetera --it's a vicious cycle. Break the cycle by taking slow, deep breaths using the diaphragm. Your stomach, not your chest, should go out when you inhale. Soon the symptoms should resolve.

I generally try to help everyone I like. Some of them I do not know. But I am in the National Guard and we try to serve our country.

Some of the most famous entertainers deal constantly with stage fright.

Practicing speaking before groups does help. to do that they should practice the speech alone and then in front of you and others.

Problem is, you can't help someone get over stage fright. Only they can do it.

honestly it's a personal inner struggle. Only he can figure out how to get over it. You may actually end up putting more pressure on him--without really meaning to at all.

Ask how you can help them and run lines with them and make them feel comfortable in the role they are playing, other than that, assure them that nerves are good, no matter how much they make me wanna puke.

Good luck to you and chookas to them.

you can encourage them, but you shouldn't make them get over it cus if they are afraid they'll probably get over it in their own time. Cus normally i think are afraid because they are afraid that they'll messed up the whole thing so yeah you can help them if they want it. But never make your friends get over just like that because then they might think that you either want them to be like you or they might think that you just want them to get over it so you can win something or something like that. ok
