I may get married and own up to 8 dogs. No children. I will work with animals. Perhaps a zoo or a veterinary hospital. Thank you.

San Diego. They have a great zoo and some great areas to live in that are not as expensive as Honolulu.

I am fourteen and am from Maui, and I must say Honolulu is crazy. I'm a local (filipino/hawaiian), and I've seen so many things happen here. Trust me, I think you would belong in San Diego. Many locals are so against tourist, (haoles-caucasions) and you will get treated like dirt kinda. There is aloha spirit around, but remember, if your CAUCASION, then.. yeah.. =] There was recently a show on MTV called Maui Fever, and trust me, a lot were against it. I think that it would be better in San Diego because I am sure more success will come about there, promise. Hawaii is great, but it's not looking to good right now. I am sick an tired of all this unnecessary concrete here, and people moving in and taking the land. It would be worst for it to increase population and concrete, and I would not want any more tourist taking the land. You can take your chance, but it'd be better as vacation. =] hahaha. It's basically my opinion!!!!!!

If you're doing it for a career move, with animals, i'd pick san diego, their zoo is fabulous. If you were just trying to decide between the two, with no other factors involved, i would choose honolulu most definitely.

My dad used to outlive that island, Oahu, and now lives on the huge island, Hawaii. His venture is amazingly different, he's elderly etc.. yet he's been over there an prolonged time. he's in no way achieved familiar form of artwork and that's been very complicated for him. Honolulu is amazingly crowded. that's like la in basic terms extra palm timber. that's somewhat a place for individuals prepared to stay very purely, or in specific situations, poorly; or for people who've a honest quantity of money. no longer as a great number of a center classification as in California. the sensation you get once you flow to, isn't what the fact may well be in case you lived there. My husband wanted to head there precise after our first flow to there mutually. yet he found out later that's not that straightforward in case you % to purchase a house, and have a activity such as you will possibly desire to right here on the "mainland". besides the fact that, in case you're youthful, do no longer innovations minimum salary jobs, are comfortable with renting, it would desire to be lots of exciting. i might inspect jobs the two on line (monster etc) or from a newspaper there, that would properly be available on line. Or verify those issues out throughout a holiday. you additionally can locate out the community issues, politics etc.. that way. yet i'm no longer an area, so i don't have all of the tips somebody else has. i'm no longer attempting to sound like an expert! As an area Californian, i think of you may no longer beat the probabilities right here. San Diego would not have extremely as many roles as up with the help of L.A., however the climate is cooler. besides the fact that, border cities could have their very own unique circumstances. i might inspect apartment costs, activity opportunties, residing house costs etc, for the two with the help of the internet. good success!

Your description of yourself screams liberal democrat, which means you could fit in either state, California or Hawaii, but based on what I know from being in both, you would fit in better in San Diego. Hawaii is not going to like you much for all the dogs and the licenses for them is astronomical.

San Diego would be a better choice. And less expensive to move to and live in.

I think you should do a little more research on this than just asking it here...look at the websites for these to places, see what they have to offer.

If you are going to have lots of pets, perhaps look for the one that has more vets or 24 hour vet places available....
