No I don't even have the messenger....Maybe I am answering too many questions again...too much unusual activity coming from my computer?

This error appears to be a "catch-all" error code that Yahoo serves up when it doesn't have a more specific error code. It essentially means "Oops! Something went wrong but we don't know what, so we'll just say that Error 999 occurred."

Error 999 in Yahoo means there was a glitch and they don't know what it was. It's just a catch-all. Two in two weeks isn't bad. Maybe you're switching between screens or functions a little fast.

It means you have reached your bandwith limit. When you are on Yahoo Answers too long they basically are waving a flag at your IP address to protect themselves from fruad or hackers. Its their way of keeping your from abusing the system. It can last from one hour to 24 on most of the time but the longest I have gotten one was for almost three days. It will lift eventually

It's a glitch on their part I believe. I hate when I get those. I usually contact customer care and mine never last more than an hour or two after I do.

if you log out you can sign back in, in about an hour and it will be gone
