No it doesnt have one, it will be limited by the amount of fuel its supplied. It does have a set screw that limits the throttle position that in turn limits the rpms.

No it does not have one. A speed govener is not a rev limiter. A rev limiter keeps the engine from over reving RPMs. A speed limiter keeps the car from going over a set MPH. A rev limiter is in the ECM.

by the way, a 350 chevy engine will extra healthful right into a Chevy Vega too!!! yet, of direction, it ain't hassle-free the two.... I positioned a 430 Lincoln in a fifty 5 chevy too, yet like each mismatched engine swaps, there's a sort of reducing, welding, fabrication and heartache that is going into it...fender wells, floor pan, firewall, those are in basic terms the beginning up. do no longer forget approximately the rear end... And, ohhh definite...wiring on those new computerized automobiles...gotta artwork on that!!! How "previous" is that Elantra btw???

Depends on the distributor, if its breaker points, then the rev limiter is the connecting rods when they become a pretzel. If its got solid-state electronic "points", then yes it should have a rev limiter.

No, there is no rev limiter. There is no reason I can even dream about to floor any motor in neutral, so don't do it.
