My 17 months old accidently hit me in the eyeball it was so painful.. Now my eye is hurting me and if I touch it with anything it hurts even more. I've always had white eyeballs but right now the part where he hit is pink. Will it get it better or do I need to see a doctor very soon?

if you can see out of it and it does not feel scratchy when you blink then you prolly just brused it - the pink means you broke some blood vessels in the eye and like a bruise (which is broken blood vessels under the skin) you will get better but it may take a few days

you would be positive... you do no longer might desire to flow to the nurse till you have soreness or imaginative and prescient issues. For the subsequent 2 weeks you will might desire to keep in mind this incident and in case you start to have alot of soreness or unusual imaginative and prescient issues you will might desire to work out a doctor as we communicate. we regularly hit our eyes and that they are in a position to that better than you will possibly think of yet soreness or imaginative and prescient issues yould be a demonstration of a scratch or an infection that would desire to % to be dealt with. the actual incontrovertible fact that your ok now could be a great sign yet not extra goofing off close on your eyes or medical doctors orders are going to be goofy goggles for you kiddo!

I'd definitely urge you to see an eye doctor about this as soon as possible. Your son may have scratched your cornea, and left untreated, that can cause serious problems with your vision.

You need to go to an emergency room. Eyeballs are nothing to mess with. They're irreplaceable. Go now.
