Bella Vista is in Qawra, not St.Julians. I happen to know because my boyf used to work there. Lovely country views, however there is a ten minute walk to the bus stop (to Valletta) and fifteen minutes away from the centre of Bugibba (which is next to Qawra and slightly more lively, with lots of shops).
It depends on what sort of holiday u want. If u want to just chill out, I suppose it would be ok. But if you want to have a taste of almost everything on this little island that we call our home, then i'd say go somewhere more central like Sliema or St.Julians. Buses to valletta (and consequently everywhere else...because the major bus terminus is in Valletta and ALL buses to almost ANY location depart from there) are readily available. Restaurants are plentiful, as is entertainment. Excursions to historical sites are also available, if you're looking for some history.

Yes i have if it is in st Julian's don't have room at the front night club dead opposite and on main road have room at the back looks on to pool bit dearer though i move from the front done my head in its very basic to but staff are cool,had week there in may last year had breakfast once then went out for breakfast even though was included in price, don't no what lunch or dinner was never try it, great diving place just done the road called dive view,if under 30 this is a good hotel over look else where but it is cheap

its nothing great, look around a bit and you can get something price comparable but with better facilities and location and still in the same vicinity
