It wont hurt! Im a glasses person since i was 10, n switched to contact when i was 16 until now (22 now). Contacts r a lot cooler. but yeah u have to be very hygenic n take a good care of your eyes n the contacts as well. First few days will be a bit hard for u to put them on, but after u get used to it, it'll take less than a minute! I never had any eye infection before, so yeah.. u should try! ;)

I've been wearing contacts for 12 years THEY DO NOT HURT!!! Its great! You can still own a nice pair of glasses but there is nothing like going to the gym, running or going to an amusement park and not worrying about what if my glasses fall off. They are great. You can sleep in some contacts just make sure you wash your hands before and after taking them out. It does take about a week to get comfortable touching your eyeball but once you're past that, you'll be fine. I can take mine out and out them in without a mirror now! Yes there are a few Emo guys who still like a girl in glasses. but it all comes down to you. if you have an active lifestyle they are a perfect choice.

If you have one eye that has a stronger prescription than the other (most people do) be sure that you put the correct contact in the corresponding eye or you will not be able to see clearly/ you will be irritated. Do not keep your contacts in overnight (unless you have contacts specifically made to allow overnight wear). One of my friends accidentally (fell asleep without meaning to) kept her contacts in overnight for two nights in a row and developed an eye infection or irritation (red and painful in any case).

It does not hurt!(who ever wrote that!!)
It's just a little harder than when you wear regular glassesand it does take longer. because you have to make sure that the don't fall when you putting then on. i have contacts. i think that the are more practical than glasses because they don't brake or get scrached.
I say, that you should try them!
good Luck!â»

It's rough when you first get them. For the first week, it would take numerous tries to try to stick the contact into place. After that, it's easy one-try stick-in. It's all worth it, they feel way more comfortable than glasses. Easier for me to manage too.

have you ever put them in before? if not, it might take a while to get them in when ur trying them on for the first time because you have to put the contact on your finger and put it in your eye. for me, i kept closing my eyes and when I finally stuck them in, they got really irritated and stuff. just don't mind that, and remember it will be a little uncomfortable for the first few minutes. after a few weeks, you'll get completely used to them. oh! and also remember to change them when ur supposed to otherwise they'll really irritate your eyes and all the eyedrops in the world won't help. and remember to properly clean your contacts case. good luck! :)

Get soft/disposable contacts if you can.....they're very comfortable. I've been wearing them for several years.
They're a bit tricky putting in at first....good luck!
