A lot of people left the military when Bill Clinton was elected. If Hillary is elected will she have to reinstate the draft just to have any kind of military. Do you think they will draft girls, too? Women are already serving in Iraq and the Commander-in-Chief will be a female, I don't see how they could not take girls, too.

DebiDel,
Is there something I have stated that is not true?
The military and Clinton's do not mix. A lot of good people bailed out under Bill Clinton's administration. The only reason we have gotten along without a draft was because of plenty of volunteers. I just don't see a lot of military minded people running to enlist to serve under Hillary. She has a good chance to win. So how else could she handle a massive loss of troops?

This is a real concern.

No, It is true that when Bill Clinton was president they downsized the military. That does not mean that they "Left" but rather were not needed for current political situation. Many became reservists and were no longer a part of the "standing" armed forces. Under President Bush the size of the military has fluctuated. The number of reservists is down but the number of active or "standing" troups is up. HC is a passivist not an aggressor. Thus, the miliatary could be reduced by a large number from it's standing force and we would likely see a large increase in the reservists.

I'd say there's a low chance for the draft to be reinstated. Don't worry about it too much.

You sound scared...is someone filling your head with nonsense?

For one thing...they didn't bail...they were let go. You have nothing to base your claim that military people will leave in droves. Calm down...you're overreacting.
