water polo is great to start when you are that age. I'm a freshman and i just started last year. its also good because not that many people play at the high school level so you will have a good chance to play varsity

You're never too old to start any sport, as long as you don't necessarily expect to become world class (though even for that 13 isn't too late for most). I'm easily old enough to be your dad and have just recently taken up climbing. My progress is slow and I'll never be on the cover of a magazine, but I'm having fun and getting in shape and those are the only two things that matter.
Choose a sport you think you'll have fun with even if you're not one of the best.

Honestly, if you're the naturally athletic kind, then really any sport you want you could start. I started football my senior year in high school and I did just fine. So at this point I think you should just look for what sport you think looks like the most fun. In my opinion soccer is the most fun sport to play. Insanely boring to watch, but fun to play. And that is good whether you're a boy or a girl.

You're never too old to start any sport. But I recommend cheerleading. The competitive kind. It's called all-stars. If you like competing, preforming, dancing or gymnastics/tumbling. This is definetly the sport for you.

You're never too old to start anything. I do gymnastics and its awesome. If you're aggresive hockey would be a good sport for you. I'm 11 so its not all that bad.

yea, basketball is a good sport that is easy to get the hang of. I just started playing in a professional league just this year and it was easy to get the hang of.

there is truly no age limit. If I were you start right now, take it from a high school person who did start too late. I started soccer at 16, and it was kind of too late.
