I can't remember exactly. I know i could look it up, but i just figured i would ask and let somebody get a couple more points.

Anybody remember that last interest rate hike he approved in August of 2000? the reason i ask is because look at the effects from there to now and follow the timeline.

Guys, that part i knew. At least he's not able to just yet anyways. It would be nice if ppl really started waking up anytime.

Alan Greenspan received an honorary knighthood on Sept 26. 2002. He received it in recognition of Greenspan's "contribution to global economic stability."
He cannot use the title of "Sir" because he is not a British subject

Incidentally, he isn't entitled to call himself 'Sir Alan' as he isn't a citizen of a Commonwealth country. But he got a medal. Very shiney too.

Okay thats not fair justanotherjoe I was taking a sip from my glass of milk when I read your question. He is not a Knight, it was just a medal.
