I am waiting for some money to be direct deposited into my checking account. As usual, when you need money badly, it takes absolutely forever to get it. Do you know if banks process direct deposits on weekends?

If your bank is open on Saturday, which most are, then it will be deposited in the account. If not, then it will show as a pending transaction until your bank opens Monday morning.

I don't think they do- well where are the funds coming from? It takes 2 business days for ACH and I don't think weekends are considered "business" days in some places... i.e. investment firms.
