how do i get into the bios on a compaq ?... all mine does is come up, say compaq then load into windows.

Try one of these press F1, F12 or Del a few times while u see the Compaq screen.

On many compaq computers, it's the F10 key. Usually when the cursor jumps to the right side of the screen. Other ways for computers is del or F2 keys.

as soon as u turn on pc...tap f2 repeatedly until u see bios screen....but if u do not know how to get there....how in the world are u gonna configure it????????
