rest...rest and rest some more.....try to take it easy for the next 2-3 days....if it does not get any better i would suggest you see a chiro....

Heating pad. Hot bath with epsome salt. Lay down in a comfy bed. Back massage or if all else fails call a chiropractor.

It should heal on its own. Don't do any bending. Motrin for a couple of days (take it regularly, not just when it hurts) will sooth the irritated nerves and / or muscles. If it gets worse, see the doctor.

Well, depending on your age. . . if you're young or if it's a mild pain/discomfort, just lie down and put either a hot or cold pack, whichever you prefer. Both work for different types of strain.
If you're older or it's a serious pain, I suggest seeing a chiropractor.
