It could mean that you love the beach, but don't see the danagers, therefore, the alligator throwing you back is Mother Nature, if I were you I would keep my eyes and ears open to the danagers, ie, hurricanes, under tows, critters. It could be a warning of the danagers. Be careful

Beach
To see the beach in your dream, symbolizes the meeting between your two states of mind. The sand is symbolic of the rational and mental processes while the water signifies the irrational, unsteady, and emotional aspects of yourself. It is a place of transition between the physical/material and the spiritual.
To dream that you are on the beach and looking out toward the ocean, indicates unknown and major changes that are occurring in your life. Consider the state of the ocean, whether it is calm, pleasant, forbidding, etc.
To dream that you are looking toward the beach, suggests that you are returning to what is familiar to you. Alternatively, you may be adapting or accepting to the changes and circumstances in your life.
To dream that you are relaxing on a beach, signifies that the coming weeks will be calm and tranquil for you. Your stress will be alleviated and you will find peace of mind. However, to dream that you are working on the beach, signifies a business project that will consume most of your time.
Alligator
To see an alligator in your dream, symbolizes treachery, deceit, and hidden instincts. It may be a signal for you to take a new perspective on a situation. It may also represent your ability to move between the material world of waking life and the emotional, repressed world of the unconscious. Alternatively, the alligator represents healing powers and qualities.
To dream that you are running away from the alligator, indicates that you are unwilling to confront some painful and disturbing aspect of your unconscious. There is some potentially destructive emotion that you are refusing to acknowledge and owning up to.
Flying dreams fall under a category of dreams where you become aware that you are dreaming, known as lucid dreaming. Many dreamers have described the ability to fly in their dreams as an exhilarating, joyful, and liberating experience.
If you are flying with ease and enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a different perspective on things. Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power.
Having difficulties staying in flight indicates a lack of power in controlling your own circumstances. You may be struggling to stay aloft and stay on course. Things like power lines, trees, or mountains may further obstruct your flight. These barriers represent a particular obstacle or person who is standing in your way in your waking life. You need to identify who or what is hindering you from moving forward.
If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you feel that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success.
In reality, we do not have the ability to fly. Thus such dreams may represent that which is beyond our physical limitations. In your mind, you can be anybody and do anything. Another way of interpreting flying dreams is that these dreams symbolize your strong mind and will. You feel undefeatable and nobody can tell you what you cannot do and accomplish. Undoubtedly these dreams leave you a great sense of freedom.

I'm going to go out on a limb a bit and suggest that this dream is a wake up call. I think the alligator is both Nature, Nature's own powerful and very ancient creatures, as well as your own unconscious energy that has a shared origin with these ancient creatures. The ocean represents that pristine, shared ancient source - the primeval source of all of us. Often it hides itself - this powerful, common source - like benign moss. But then it builds up and breaks the surface of normal and perhaps complacent consciousness that is busy maintaining the status quo.
But this complacency and concern with the status quo (father) is failing to address how we are disturbing the whole planetary balance - our common source - the ocean, the air, the atmosphere, the climate, etc. This creature - at once his own species as well as your own deep unconscious matrix that connects you to all life on earth - is the voice of this disturbed matrix shared by all living things. He wanted to wake you up. And you wanted to help him.
Not only do you want to rescue lost powers in your own unconscious which will make you stronger and more independent, but this alligator also wants you to pay attention to the environment that we are wrecking, the species that we are endangering, the life that we are undermining and threatening.
I think the alligator threw you at your father because he wants you to address your father and your father's side of things - including your own intellectual side - because he feels that men are neglecting the environment because of business, profit, status, power, industry and so forth. We are neglecting it because of lack of feeling and heart. We are thinking too much with our heads, not our hearts. The intentions of this voice from the shared environment as well as your own unconscious - or mother matrix - wants you to wake up and deal with policies that will help to genuinely protect his ocean, his lagoons, his breathing space and his food sources.
Your father didn't catch you. Perhaps your father does not care as much as he should about the things that really matter to the alligator. But it seems that you do care and do want to help. The alligator is trying to tell you that the problem is urgent and that his existence does matter and that in many surprising ways alligators, like many animals, are also thoughtful, sentient, full of feeling and urgency and care just like people. So he stood up like a human trying to get your attention.
We are all so distracted by a culture based upon excess and non-essentials that we forget what is really essential and really universal.
I think the alligator was a reminder of what is essential to all species. The dream showed your first instinct. But you have to try and move your father, his family and his side of things.
A very, very interesting dream. I hope this offers some thoughts. How nice it would be to get those plastic bags out of that beautiful blue sea and keep that tan colored beach pristine and invigorating.

I think the alligator represents things you have a nack for seeing, things others may not notice as often as you do. You went back to it, and I think that means you like to or tend to pay attention to those things, but sometimes they can distract you from what matters or is important (like your family in the dream). Try to find a balance of the two in your real life.

sounds as if you may have unresolved issues regarding the relationship with your father.Possibly the family or you want a more stable relationship than you have. Expecting more out of circumstances than is possible is disappointing and somestimes frightening. I thing you feel you would like to be able to depend on your father more than you can.I don't know if your feeling is accurate or more demanding than he is able to fulfill, but I think it would be a good idea to talk to your father and a counselor or an adult uninvolved in the family.
