I have a 1992 twin turbo stealth & put a 1991 6G72TT motor in it which is the same motor that came stock & the one year difference shouldnt be a problem w/ my ecu. After i got the motor in & did some tuning i had it running pretty good with a slightly high idle that i adjusted down. After driving it some(less then 100miles) it started to cut out more & more, which I thought might be bad wires but now im thinking its something else. After driving it today i had a problem with my boost. My guage showed me over boosting at like 2500rpms without punching the gas which shouldnt happen but i was not actually getting any boost at all from the turbos & my car kept dying after i gave it some gas. I thought it was a vacuum or intake leak but i couldnt find any. Im going to pressure test it but i wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas of what it could be? I tried to rule out anything else it could be but if anyone else has any ideas i tend to forget simple things now and again...thanks.......

I don't think its the waste gates, but check them. Engine grounding would give problems kinda like that too. Run some large gauge wires from points on the engine to points on the chasis. You could be running too rich, MAP sensor not installed correctly or reading right or sampling pressure from the correct place in the intake (if it has one), O2 sensor plugged in?

i own a repair shop and go back over some of what you have done to it,you might have over looked something that didn't get hooked up right, when you said it had a problem with the idle that sort of give it away right there, try looking it over real good, and check everything, and make sure you don't have a check engine light on,if you do,have auto zone scan it to see whats causing it to come on,good luck with it ,i think you ,ll find the problem, hope this helps.
