either your an asshole, or just really stupid. but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you just don't get it.
women, or men, who want to "work" to save a relationship mean they want to "work" together, sort out differances and try to make amends, or to fix things through active action, not just passively watch things get worse. In this world today people seem to think everything is disposable. somthing breaks, go buy (or find) a new one. so when your cars engine needs some work, will you bring it to a mechanic, or junk the whole car for a new one? keep in mind you may never find a new car that is as good as the first, and also, what will you do if this one has issues...junk it again? Somtimes things need to be worked on, other times things really are beyond that and change is needed.
just think about what you are doing before you make an impulsive decision that you will regret.

Work = exercising your brain and whatever sense of emotional maturity you have, such that when a problem comes along, you can compromise and negotiate, and work it out to mutual satisfaction, as opposed to building up a string of unresolved issues until the lid blows off the relationship.
How's that?
Oh, you want the sexual answer? Is that it?
Work = going downtown and staying there till she lets you know she's ready for something else.
Work = being able to stay in the saddle and work your bad asz like something other than a reciprocating steam engine. Get some style.

Be respectful and kind to her. Do the dishes and pick up the house before she gets mad and reminds you of what you need to do. Work does not make you hot and sweaty, it is just about talking thru your problems and finding compromises. That is work and marriage is full of compromises.

A lot of them in the case your presenting means "If i give you sex then you give me my way and see things my way and do things my way 100% of the time- for sex".Sometimes theymean you both need to compromise.
