You may have a short in the electric door mechanism, the door actuator may be broken and need to be replaced, or a wire could have simply come loose. I would check the wiring first and if that doesn't work remove the door panel and check the actuators given the age of the vehicle, my money is on this). I would disarm the alarm for now if you are comfortable with that solution. If not, tough it out until you find the problem. A licensed mechanic would help tremendously. Wiring is tricky and you don't want to damage something more. :)

You got an electrical problem. That is something you got to do step by step to eliminate the possible causes. You need to take to a mech specializing in auto electrics. It is a 17-18 year old car. Things could have corroded.

We are here, you are there. You must find someone to look at the door switch or the wiring from the driver side door to the harness. We can't see through net space.

i own a shop, and you need to take it to a good mechanic and let them look at it,if you take it apart, and cant fix it they,ll charge twice as much to repair it you have worked on it,electrical problems should be left to a good mechanic,i have known people who have caused there own cars to catch on fire from trying to fix electrical problems before,so have this checked it will be a lot safer, good luck i hope this helps.

Sounds like your relay is bad. If the alarm arms then the signal is making it to your relay but the relay isnt doing its job.

Have you checked the battery in your remote? Take it to an audio / alarm place and have them look at it.

17 year old car man, perhaps old age symptoms?
Mine doesn't lock, but it should, but it doesn't.
But it's so old, they'd be doing me a favor if they stole it and I just don't care lol.
