The first sign of a scam is asking for upfront fees.
The only way to make money is buy a desirable product the public needs at a low price and sell it for a profit.
Here is a suggestion:

Sell Micro-Fiber Towels.
Your target customers would be Home cleaners, Janitors, Churches wanting to do fundraisers, Car detail shops.
You could give away samples and then those customers end up buying over and over again..

Buy them in Bulk for less than $2.49 ea and resell for $5 or $6 ea
Or sell in packages of 2 per package and sell for $10...
(You can sell more for less effort this way.)

You could even create a free web-site at Yahoo to promote.
Free business cards on Vistaprint

You can buy as little as 5 cloths to try it out...very low start-up just to see if you will enjoy it. If not, use the 5 for yourself...they work great.

I hope this helps and good luck !...

I honestly think that a LOT of them are... I have yet to find one that actually paid without you having to put in some money first. The way I look at it, you should never have to PAY SOMEONE ELSE for you to get paid. If they ask for that, then it's probably a scam or a pyramid scheme or something like that. And that also goes for those lists/companies that you have to pay for in order for them to tell you about other people/jobs. Don't do it. Seriously. You'll just be wasting your money. But if you every find anything legitimate, be sure to let me know :-)

Different approach to a often asked question...

Answer: There's the flat out GRQ (Get Rich QuicK)
program that fires up your emotions to be,,,
A Zillionaire in Five Days
Bumchair Bandit
C(r)ashba(i)t parody of often mentioned program

then there's things that seem ok, like
selling stuff for people on ebay.
However, there are back-end dropship scams
that bite the novice.

Many times people want you to start a business.
This requires an investment of money and time.
That's where the confusion starts.

You want a steady job - something you can depend on.
Not everyone wants to help you with that.

True, isn't it?

Any company that asks for upfront or initial payment/deposit for work at home jobs is likely to be a scam. Check this out for work from home jobs without any investment http://www.pcworkathome.in/telecommutejobs.html

Most of the ones that get posted on here are fake or you get 10 cents for taking a 20 minute survey. There are a lot of businesses that get run out of homes. Web Design, Graphic Design, Homemade crafts and foods, Ebay sellers, Tax Preparers...

What has worked for me is this - create a website about something that you know a lot about. Then you can make money by running ads on the site. Here is a guide to getting started - http://www.richkahmer.com/make-money-online.html

The ones that ask for money are not real. They often make it difficult to get your money. Just remember that any job you work should pay you, not you paying them.
