That makes me a Cancer. I was supposed to be born on the 13th...which would still make me a Cancer.
I am very very emotional and get mad very easily...but I don't think I fit any of the other criteria of a Cancer. I'm very loud and I love to be the center of attention. I'm a hard worker and I stress out a lot over little things.
One time a lady went into the store I was working at and she asked me what my sign was. What I told her, she said I wasn't a cancer and one day someone would tell me what I really was. I don't know what she meant by that...she was probably just crazy...
Anyway...anyone wanna take a shot in telling me my sign is? I was thinking that my moon or my sun was in some position or something...

your experience was with someone that actually reads your ascendant. The ascendant astral line actually rises above your body and that's what she was reading. She wasn't crazy. I took a class once and saw my teachers ascedent clearly. I said she had Virgo, She was a Libra. I did her chart. Her ascedent was Virgo.

***from a fellow cancerian i'm not sure what parts u think aren't cancer like. we LOVE being the center of attention...we're just not as pushy about getting it as some are. and the stressing out over the little things...that's cause we're chronic worriers. and the hard worker...that totally fits....we have an intense need to do our best so we shine.
the chick from the store...i'm assuming she was referring to the placement of your moon, but who'd know for sure. chances are she really was crazy.
that aside, u do sound a lot like me...from the lil bit u said. if u ever get the chance read Linda Goodman's "sun signs". i think it does a great job of characterizing each of the signs and after u read the cancer part i think you'll realize you're a whole lot more like a cancer than u realize.
