What would Mexicans think if I took some friends down to Mexico and celebrated the Fourth of July? And had celebrations in every major Mexican city?
I'm just curious.

Mexicans do not care if you celebrate 4th of July in Mexico. Educate yourself before you posted a silly question. Just go to Acapulco,Cancun, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and dozens more Mexican Tourist Area during Americans Holiday and Spring Break. There alot more Americans partying in Mexico than you think.

They wouldn't mind at all, I went there 4th of July 2004 and they even celebrated it with me. They actually party better in Cancun. I'm not being funny or lying, this is actually true.

I doubt if anyone in Mexico would care if you celebrate the 4th of July. They'd probably be glad to cater the party. Your question sounds racist.

Maybe you could ask the Irish about St. Patty's Day,
the Germans from whom we get the Christmas Tree,
the Celts who gave us Halloween, & other "Pagan" holidays,
the Nazarenes from whom we get Christmas,
the Romans from whom we get April Fools,
or the British who gave us May Day.
Silly.
American culture is steeped in traditions from many countries. We're a PATCHWORK of many cultures.
