Because their life is great: They're impossibly thin, (heck, they don't even eat!!!), born with a natural enormous rack, they can dump guys like Ken, for which real women would literally kill, they got lots of pink stuff, equipment and accesories (a freakin' 'Vette!!).
What else is there to life? All they lack is being Paris Hilton...

If barbies didn't smile, no kids would buy them. 'Cuz I'm pretty sure looking at a barbie that was frowning would kinda freak me out, If you know what I mean!

cuz its probably the person who's making it is happy
maybe that's why they invented the barbies that have different emotions when you press buttons on the back of em'
the person who invented that must have had multiple universal emotions
so if you're tired looking at happy barbies.......buy one of the emotion barbies or draw stuff on their faces with a sharpie!

It's that come hither look that makes you want to spend your hard earned cash on them, which is not a bad deal because years down the road, you can sell them for profit.

theyre supposed to bee happie.. and like a role model for kids.
if barbies would bee crying, I wouldnt buy one for myself or [later on when I have them] for my kids.
