AND WHY DO THE ENGLISH HATE AMERICAN FOOTBALL AND LOVE THEIR OWN?

I HATE BOTH OF THEM, BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE IT WOULD BE ENGLISH FOOTBALL BECAUST IT ATLEAST HAS SOME EXCITEMENT TO IT.

I THINK MEN IN WESTERN SOCIETIES ARE PEER PRESSURED AND BRAINWASHED TO "LIKE IT".

MY PERSONAL OPINION.

WE CALL IT FOOTBALL IN THE UK NOT SOCCER HOW CAN AMERICANS CALL IT FOOTBALL WHEN THEY HARDLY EVER KICK THE BALL?

Ok, you're a human being, and you have to accomplish something with a ball, but you're not allowed to use your hands. You have to use your feet and noggin. That makes sense, we humans try to move things without hands all the time.
Just this morning, I was cooking eggs using a spatula stuck in my bum.
So, you do this for an hour or so, and no one is able to put an 8 inch ball through a 16 foot net. Hmm. Maybe they were doing something wrong? No? Well, then, let's decide the whole thing with a coupla free kicks and go home. 1 to 0. How exciting that was. Oh, and one fella touched another, so he was booted from the game. Politely, mind you, with a little invitation card - no rsvp required.
Are you serious? This is a game? And, what, no blindfolds?

There are a variety of reasons, but familiarity has the most to do with it; we tend to like the sports and activities we grew up with, and find those we did not have this exposure to strange or odd and unappealing.

IN addition, North American sports fans seem to like sports that display short, intense moments of action, followed by longer periods of time where little seems to be happening (baseball being the outstanding example, but it is also true of football and basketball). Continuous action sports, like hockey and soccer/football are less appealing.

what do you mena nothing compares to american football american football does not compare to the national level of pride the the universal sport football (soccer) when in a football game do you hear thousands of people screaming their national anthem and singing and chanting like they do in the real football never

That's easy. Americans never liked soccer because Beckham hasn't started playing for the LA Galaxy yet. Oh, also, Victoria and Brooklyn hasn't settled down in US either.

We are anxious waiting for their arrival. Go Soccer!

Not much of a fan on the American game, do you really need that many people to play a game?

Americans don't hate soccer, but most of them do not find it appealing, when we see soccer on TV we just say " C'mon stop fooling around and pick up the damn ball already"
