Apparently he brings some baggage with him. USC has a pretty cohesive team that is so far made it to the Sweet 16. OJ Mayo is talented, no doubt, but will he be a detriment or a plus for the Trojans?

regardless how much of a stature he carries as a great player in high school...he's still going to only be a freshman. i doubt the team will revolve around him unless he turns out to be a durant or oden type talent in his first year.

he'll definetely add to their talent but if he causes trouble or gets in trouble, coach will either bench him or redshirt him.

He will definitely be a plus. Yeah he has done some stupid things, but he's done nothing to hurt his team's chemistry. He has won 2 state championships and is a proven winner and he will be a huge addition for the Trojans next year.

It's hard to say, the kid is a great talent, I've seen him in person and he can flat play... that being said, he can't seem to stay out of trouble and is most definitely a one year player. I'd rather have him and worry about when he'll blow it, than not have him and wonder how good it could have been.
