Typically, if you pay for the appraisal its YOURS - it is up to you if you want to share it with the seller. Keep in mind that you could have 3 different appraisals, and get three different values. I would think that good appraisals should be close in price range. If a buyer is using the appraisal as a basis of an offer, then no the seller isn't privy to that information...if you are the seller then you may want to order your own appraisal

No. The appraisle is usually required by the lending company but is paid for by the buyer. It is even unusual for the buyer to get a full copy of the report. There is usually some confidential information contained in the report about the "comps" used in the appraisle.
If you want an appraisle, you have to pay for it yourself.

If they paid for it, they own it.
Personally, if I was in your shoes, I'd pay them half the cost of the appraisal, and offer it free to other prospective buyers.

No, you don't have the right!
The only one you have a "right" to see, legally, is the one you pay for.
Of course, you might be able to "bribe" the appraiser for the right amount... but that would be unethical, wouldn't it?

If you didn't pay for it you don't have the right to it.
Anyhow, the appraisal to go by is the one the tax collector issues.

I'm really not sure but if I'm selling my house that's the 1st thing I would do, to get an apraissal just so I know how much I can sell my house for.

Just like anything else you buy, it belongs to the person who paid for it.
