In the 50s it was the 7 year itch, where couples married for seven years started to be tempted. With our modern world, has that gone down to the 3 or 4 year itch? Come on married people, be honest with me!?

There are some marriages that itch happens in the first year.
I've had that itch, and it was a few years into my marriage, but I just ignore it anymore. I'm happy and satisfied with my wife, she's the only woman I need.
Am I tempted, you bet, it's just how you handle the temptation and deal with it. I just choose not t give into it. And that includes looking at porn videos, or magazines or porn on-line, also includes magazines like Stuff, FHM, Maxim, and men's magazines like that, also I refuse to look at the SI Swimsuit edition, because the only woman I feel I need to look at is my wife.

Yea I would say 4 year itch. Once you know your unhappy--which takes the first year when you look back and say "the first year was supposed to be the hardest but the happiest?" By about year three you just want out than by year 4 you have the itch to find someone more compatible--sorry to say most have 1 or 2 kids by that point. I did so stayed married for 9 and we both couldn't take the unhappiness anymore.

No not at all in this marriage with my husband... We are totally happy together and going on 8 years of marriage now and there is no seven year itch here and we did not even have any itches earlier in our marriage either. Marriage is what you make of it and if you work at it and choose to make the most of it and be happy and work through things that itch will not ever happen.

In my first marriage it was more like a "one week itch." In my second marriage I've been faithful for 11 years. But I'm still tempted when I see a beautiful woman, especially if she dresses provocatively.
