Albert Einstein said that human stupidity and the universe are infinite but only the latter is up for debate.

John F. Kennedy is supposed to have said that only two things are invinite, the universe and human stupidity.

Added after reading the preceding answers: Kennedy, like most poliicians, must have filched this from his betters (in this case Einstein), but didn't bother to credit his source.

I was once told by an executive assistant (and speechwriter) to a Canadian Prime Minister that he had been told, after he first started to work for a public figure, that when you are a student it's important not to plagiarize, but that after you've graduated the key question is not whether you plagiarize, but if your source is really an exceelent one. . . . And so it goes.

Albert Einstein. Yet, he has also set second hypothesis or possibility for the meaning of an infinite, which is the universe itself, which, in my opinion is mathematically and logically wrong.

the only person that i've heard this from is you.but i prefer to say that stupidity is only limited by the human mind.(but this may be compounded with computers and the global scale. )which may not be infinite, but is nearly so.

Well it looks like it was Albert Einstein.
But I've got one better for you that you, or anyone else for that matter, may use - "You can't fix stupid."
