My pal swore by Abercrombie, even though their prices are outrageously high! About two months ago she went in there to buy a new pair of jeans (something like $85). She got them home and wore them out that night, she washed then the next day and wore them later that week. I noticed they had these little threads on the thighs and knee areas. (not the deconstructed type either, just standard jeans, no holes, etc) So I jokingly said she was unraveling and pulled on one of the threads. Her jeans literally ripped up to the pocket seam!! I hardly even pulled! So she took them back to the store, they replaced them (albeit begrudgingly) saying it must have been bad denim, that it has never been an issue before. She wore the new jeans and with in days the knees and thigh area had worn thin and was fraying and had little holes! Now she won't even go near the place. Cheap materials, cheap construction, cheap cheap cheap!! I haven't heard anything about HCo or AE, other then they lack any real originality in their style, but as far as quality no complaints from people I know!

Um, I've never had a problem with their clothing. I only shop at AE and Hollister though, Abercrombie is too expensive!

I have AE and Hollister clothing that have lasted awhile..

I guess people might say Abercrombie is bad quality when you're comparing it to its price tag!

yeah, it's bad because the clothes are overpriced. it's not like there's anything wrong with them, but they're not THAT great of quality clothes, and they charge a lot of money for them. plus you can still get stains and stuff on them and then you ruined an 80 dollar skirt or whatever.

hollister is not too expensive, and if you really like a&f, go to abercrombie, as in the kids store. i'm almost 18 and i can still fit into their stuff, and it's waayy cheaper. the only thing that doesn't work too well is the pants because they're made for little girl bodies.

but ae is SOOO dull, can you say unoriginality? everyone shops there i don't get it

well in my opinion the clothes are overpriced, made to fit the most petite girls in the world (and no i am not fat, i am 5'6" and i weight 125 lbs), and most likely made by sweatshop workers in asia (seriously, i'm not trying to prove a point, i honestly think they are). abercrombie and fitch also has a reputation for being racist. i used to buy all these brands but my style changed (i'm not so preppy anymore) and i got sick of paying $30 for a shirt that shrank after two weeks.

human beings are close-minded and use stereotypes. i think of that's slightly...loopy to hate a save or variety call. I propose, somewhat? that's in basic terms a save....do no longer save there and flow on with life. There are plenty extra substantial issues interior the international to be prepared approximately than some regular variety call. in my opinion, some issues at those shops are too low in high quality for the fees...yet i'm unlikely to outlive it and obsess over it. i'm going to save someplace else and flow on with life. that's not that widespread of a deal, human beings. definite, you're precise, maximum skate manufacturers as properly as different regular teen outfits shops pastime trademarks, no longer in basic terms Aeropostale/Hollister/ect. human beings are hypocrites, unfortunatley. To all of the folk asserting that's not unique to save there: Do you easily think of which you're unique while there are over 6 billion human beings on earth? as long as they're pleased with the way they gown, it is going to no longer be a concern. in spite of if numerous the "regular" teenagers who positioned on those outfits are propose to you, you will possibly desire to dislike the guy, no longer despise the outfits and verify each physique who wears it as being an identical...it is amazingly infantile and ignorant.

I've been an American Eagle employee for about 2 years now, and, of course, nearly all of my clothes come from there. I must say, I've never had ANY problems with my clothes, they have proven to durable thus far.
