what is the name for the red slip worn under kimono??

It's half white (on top) and red towards the knees down t the ankles. It's worn mainly by geisha...I cant think of the name or where to buy them, Ive seen them before..ebay doesnt have them, immortal geisha doesnt have them...

Perhaps the word 'Kimono' actually translates to kimino ver and let me look!
