What happens when you look up a word in the dictionary and it refers you to look up another word, and then that word refers you to look up another word but that word isn't in the dictionary.

That called a Reference Dictionary.
You need a Regular Dictionary.

I've had them give me the definition of the word i'm looking for, but also it has directed me to refer to other words.
