I would say so I grew up in the burbs and then spent the next half from 16 on in the ghetto and yes it changed me at a alarming rate. This is why I am raising my daughter far from both in the country.

where you live is only a small part of your personality development. for example, if your family is full of racist, more than likely you will grow up to be a full fledge racist yourself. no matter if you lived in the country or the city. see my point.
