not even little white lies...they're just slight omissions of details. ex: "did you go on the date lastnight" "ya" (but really it was two days ago) these fine little details seem to ALWAYS get me into trouble. am i doing something wrong? sometimes i don't have time to correct people...

Yes, when they are sparing somebody's feelings or if it is something they really have no business knowing about. But don't lie all the time about dumb things because nobody will believe you.

did that set us back?
Wife: It was on sale at wal mart for 19.99 ( when it really was 59.99 at J.C. Penny, sometimes what they don't know won't hurt in this case lol

You should tell the truth or correct people when they are in error, because a lie is a lie. Why lie about small insignificant things anyway? People will learn not to believe your word. Unless of course someone asks you something that is none of their business, then I would just tell them that its private, but dont lie.

little white lies can become a bunch of huge lies. you lie about your salary not what you do.especially if its your "ex" and you want to work things out. be honest about everything and if he gets too personal let him know he's not your boyfriend anymore
