I know there is a stigma against them, but as an avid reader I like to go from something like Sir Conan Doyle to X-Men to spice things up

comics are great. i grew up reading marvel but i also like alot of independent work. image comics had a superhero if that's what you want to call him called maxx. really great artwork and story. also deathblow from image was good too. from marvel i liked x-force x-men daredevil punisher ghost rider venom spiderman the avengers fantastic four and captain america. there were alot more but i don't wanna keep rambling. i really liked carnage too. some of my favorite villians are carnage venom thanos apocolypse sabretooth and magneto

No...sorry! I just had a big argument w/my kid about them (He has a comic on MySpace, that he's been working on for 3 yrs.). We were watching Spiderman 2...well, HE was, and when I said I had no interest, he got all upset! I said comics just don't do it for me...never did! I like LARGE ART (just downloaded a few huge paintings). I love Conan-Doyle, but only as written or in movie form. I LOVED "The X-files", but couldn't deal w/the comics...go figure. It's all a matter of taste.

Grew up reading comic books,my Mom was just glad that I was reading something.Loved the old"Classic"comics,
MAD magazine in the 60`s-70`s,GROO the Wanderer,
was a big favorite.Jonah Hex,Kid Colt,Sgt.Rock and Easy Company,Superman,Batman,
Vampirella,etc............

I like comic books too but I like the Scooby Doo or Spiderman ones the best.

I've been an Archie fan since I could read (but someone stole my collection :( )
I also enjoy X-Men, and a little Spider Man to mix things up

yes i think they ar eso funny so many people say that they are for kids but i just love them.
